I just finished adding in 2 new systems to Jetsubmitter.
The first is multiple penname support. Each time you create a project you will now be able to specify the select of a specific penname to use. If no pennames are showing then that means you have not added one since the new system was added. Simply go to add a penname and add the penname you would like to use. It’s ok to use one you’ve already previous used.
The second update should greatly cut down on the confusion regarding why your submissions fail.
From now on anytime a project fails submission to a site Jetsubmitter will log the error for that site.
The most common errors are:
- Login Error – This most likely means that you need to run repair account signups, either the confirmation email was never confirmed or it timed out with the site
- Site Error – This usually means the site you were submitting to was down during the time of submission or has some kind of error out of Jetsubmitter’s control.
- Penname Error – You’ll see this error when the penname you created previously could not be registered because someone at the site is already using this penname. You can either start using a new penname or add an alternative penname that will be used by default if the primary can not.
- Article Spinning Error – If all of your sites are failing this is the most likely issue. You will need to make sure in Jetspinner that “Allow Jetsubmitter To View Spins” is checked AND that you can successfully spin the article in Jetspinner without getting a time out error or parser error. If you’re getting one of these 2 errors you have a { or } out of place. Simply break it down in paragraphs and test each one until you find the problem then spin the full article successfully.
