Multiple Penname Support & Advanced Error Checking

I just finished adding in 2 new systems to Jetsubmitter.

The first is multiple penname support. Each time you create a project you will now be able to specify the select of a specific penname to use. If no pennames are showing then that means you have not added one since the new system was added. Simply go to add a penname and add the penname you would like to use. It’s ok to use one you’ve already previous used.

The second update should greatly cut down on the confusion regarding why your submissions fail.

From now on anytime a project fails submission to a site Jetsubmitter will log the error for that site.

The most common errors are:

  1. Login Error – This most likely means that you need to run repair account signups, either the confirmation email was never confirmed or it timed out with the site
  2. Site Error – This usually means the site you were submitting to was down during the time of submission or has some kind of error out of Jetsubmitter’s control.
  3. Penname Error – You’ll see this error when the penname you created previously could not be registered because someone at the site is already using this penname. You can either start using a new penname or add an alternative penname that will be used by default if the primary can not.
  4. Article Spinning Error – If all of your sites are failing this is the most likely issue. You will need to make sure in Jetspinner that “Allow Jetsubmitter To View Spins” is checked AND that you can successfully spin the article in Jetspinner without getting a time out error or parser error. If you’re getting one of these 2 errors you have a { or } out of place. Simply break it down in paragraphs and test each one until you find the problem then spin the full article successfully.

    Thank You for this update.

It has answered a number questions.

Could you make a Camtasia tutorial showing an article being edited with all of the features of Jet Spinner? I am not so clear on how to use the last 2 features. The multiple word thing and the note pad file.

When can we expect to see a Thesaurus feature in Jet Spinner? I am constantly clicking onto another tab for this and this would make editing the un-spun article faster and easier.

    Hey Steve,
I’ll see about making a video showing in more detail how to do a full article. Did you already check out the videos on the help section?

Also I’m planning right now to release “Jetspinner 2.0″ & “Jetsubmitter 2.0″ sometime this summer. It should include the thesaurus feature you’re talking about as well as more advanced error checking, and the option for advanced visual features to make the syntax less confusing.

Jetsubmitter 2.0 will also have some major improvements to categories and additional site submissions.

    Thanks,

Great service, thanks for developing this. Can I make a few suggstions sprinkled in with my comments?

I like your multiple penname feature. I have multiple sites I’m promoting, some with unique pennames/authors.

Can you give us users a forum to talk with each other?

I’m an old hand at programming and I really like the idea of programming text. I see some interesting evolution you can do with this ‘text programming language’ you are developing/providing.

Can you give us a warning (out of Spinner) that informs us about the size of certain of our programmed text? For instance, in article dashboard there are some limits we don’t want to over-run: Title, Resource, and Description have limitations we want to control. It would be helpful if you told us we have over-runs. Maybe a box-score report at the end of a Spinner run that gives us min-max for each of these areas that are limited in article dashboard?

I just received an email from one of the dashboard article sites telling me that my article was denied because of imbedded html codes.

I took out the html and sent it through spinner again. Will my current submission project on Jetsubmitter use the new version, or do I need to delete the existing submission project and start a new submitter project?

Those are great improvements!, I’m really looking forward to the category improvements (the ones available are not too many!)

    Thanks for the update!

Hey Rodger, I also sent you an email the other day.

But I’d like to add something to my algorithm to give you a minimum word and a max word count based on the syntax you’ve given. It would be a nice feature.

Also all you’ll need to do if you change something on a project such as site logins or bad pen names you’ll just need to check the failed sites again to resubmit to those.

IC, Thanks, the category improvements should make a huge difference in results for some people (esp in the more obscure niches)
